30 Years in Carlton

30 Years in Carlton

In 1986 I closed my gallery in Armadale and moved to the current address in Carlton where I have held over 100 exhibitions of Early and Modern Australian Art with the help of John and Edward Barkes. We added a new string to our bow in 2007 by opening a second gallery in Hampton with Caroline Chesterfield.  We focused primarily on Contemporary art in Hampton and enjoyed the time there adding Kylie Elkington, Jeff Ferris, Barry Dickins, Brigid Cole-Adams and the Mangkaja Artists from Fitzroy Crossing to our stable.  The building was sold late last year and for one reason or another, we reluctantly decided to concentrate on Carlton.  Our Basement gallery in Carlton now houses our Contemporary work
